Meet Noe Martinez, our fantastic Executive Chef
After working for the City Club in San Francisco for many years, Chef Noe Martinez joined Rickey’s Restaurant where he leads of team of strong, passionate cooks who enjoy creating unique and delicious dishes for Rickey’s customers to enjoy.
It was Noe’s experience at the City Club that led him to be such a perfect fit when the Inn Marin decided to take over catering aspects of their events department. “I’ve worked with many chef’s, some of them famous, but none of them with the talent and skill of Noe Martinez,” says Lora Salfi, Director of Catering at Inn Marin, “Chef Noe not only understands how to prepare food for large groups of people, he cares deeply about each and every guests experience at the table.”
Chef Noe’s style can be best described as classic and simple French preparation methods influenced by the cooking of his native country of Mexico. His talent and skill shines through when he creates custom wine pairing menus. Many times he has been told by winemakers that his food pairings are the most perfect match they have ever experienced with their wines.
Rickey’s menus are constantly changing to incorporate seasonal and fresh ingredients. Recent menu updates include gluten free options as well as small portion dishes for guests who want to pay less for smaller servings. “Our small plates and tapas items have been a huge success,” adds John Marshall, owner and General Manager, “we love getting feedback from our guests about what other items they’d like to see incorporated into our new menu offerings.”
